Deputy David Stanton asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 668 of 13 January 2021, his plans to provide continued access to Erasmus+ higher education mobility opportunities for students from Northern Ireland in further education institutions; if a list of such further education institutions will be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The recent Government's decision on facilitating continued access to Erasmus mobilities is focused on higher education students in Northern Ireland institutions. However I have asked my officials to explore the issues regarding students pursuing further education programmes in Northern Ireland and to report to me shortly.
