Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the chairpersons of HEA-funded Irish higher education institutions; the term of office of each; the number of terms served by each; the method of appointment, annual remuneration and expenses for each in each of the past five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. All of the information sought by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department and in some cases is not easily accessible due to the restrictions currently in place as a result of the current public health crisis. However, the information is currently being collated, insofar as possible, and will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
