130. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Transport the estimated amount it would cost Iarnród Éireann if the number of contracted security staff increased by a further 40% based on 2019 figures. [6626/21]
View answerAs the Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. However, I am not involved in the operations of public transport.
The issue raised is an operational matter for Iarnród Éireann and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the company for direct reply.
