Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the reason for the delay in processing a land registry issue (details supplied) in County Mayo; if he will accept that this application has been ongoing for an excessively long time; if the application will be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI am informed that the Property Registration Authority (PRA) has established a dedicated unit to investigate issues such as the ones highlighted by the Deputy. I understand that the required investigations can take some time to complete; however, the PRA expedites processing where it is notified of urgency relating to a case. I further understand that the specified application has been expedited and will be processed without delay.
