355. Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the number of local authorities that are currently paying loans that were taken out to purchase land which was not included in the land aggregation scheme for housing purposes; the value of the land at time of purchase; the current value of the land; the amount paid back by each local authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Whilst the Department would retain detailed information on those lands included in the Land Aggregation scheme (LAGS), the information sought by the Deputy on non LAGS land loans should be sought through each local authority.
