298. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Health when funding will be provided for the construction of a purpose-built ambulance base in Carlow to replace the temporary prefabricated structure that has been used for over 17 years and which falls well short of health and safety standards; if a site has been identified for the construction of the project; if the project is a priority on the capital programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
