Questions (235)

Carol Nolan

Question:

235. Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Health if patients admitted to hospital for non-Covid-19-related illnesses or treatment but who are later found to be Covid-19-positive while in hospital are being included in the numbers of patients admitted with Covid-19; his views on whether the failure to differentiate between both categories may lead to confusion regarding the number of persons who are said to have been hospitalised with Covid-19 especially if they are asymptomatic; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
