Deputy Paul Kehoe asked the Minister for Education her views on a matter regarding the urgent need for temporary accommodation for a school (details supplied) in County Wicklow; her plans to ensure that places are available for students in the area in September for the coming school year; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the patron of the school referred to will progress the delivery of temporary modular accommodation to address the school’s accommodation requirement for the 2021/22 academic year.

It is fully expected that the necessary accommodation will be in place for this September.
