View answerThe Education Training Boards (ETBs) routinely employ people by way of non-pay grants, none of whom have public service pension status. The issue of staff funded from non-pay grant payments such as the staff member in question has been, and remains a subject of consideration at central government level.
In relation to the further pay related issues raised by the person in question, I understand that officials in my Department have contacted the relevant ETB in regard to same and the ETB will make direct contact with the person concerned.
