Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the status of the establishment of a taskforce for the Shannon estuary including north County Kerry as committed to in the Programme for Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand the importance of this Programme for Government commitment for the Shannon Estuary and surrounding area. Terms of Reference for the Taskforce are being finalised and I hope to make an announcement shortly.
