Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 269 of 11 March 2021, the breakdown of the exact running costs of the Forestry Service in 2018, 2019 and 2020; the details of travel and subsistence payments, office rental, office supplies, IT and so on; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Department has forestry personnel deployed to buildings all over the country, often shared with other Department personnel or indeed personnel from other Departments.  Therefore, it is not possible to provide information on costs for the items requested for forestry personnel, separate to those for the entire Department.

The travel and subsistence costs for 2018 to 2020 for the three forestry divisions are outlined below.
