Deputy Patrick Costello asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the number of requests for a child or young person turning 18 years of age to be allowed to stay on in residential care for 2018, 2019 and 2020; and the number of those requests granted. The Deputy is referring to an operational matter for Tusla, the Child and Family Agency. I have therefore referred the matter to Tusla, and asked that a direct response be provided to the Deputy.
