Deputy Holly Cairns asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if guidance will be provided for guide boating tours and boating wildlife watching tours on a safe reopening including details on the numbers which can safely travel on different size craft in terms of social distancing; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Fáilte Ireland assists with the communication of relevant public health measures by including relevant guidance in the various sector-specific guidelines published on the Fáilte Ireland website. These guidelines are intended to assist tourism businesses to operate safely in line with public health advice. With specific regard to guided boating tours and boating wildlife watching tours, relevant guidance is set out in the guidelines for activity providers.
