Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Health the number of instances in which prescribed medicines for human consumption have been detected in horse meat by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland audit and investigations division in the past ten years to date: and if he will provide a schedule of substances detected by year. The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has advised that its Audit, Incidents and Investigations Division has never detected prescribed medicines for human consumption in horse meat.
