View answerThe 2013 Government Decision which envisaged that minimum unit pricing of alcohol products would be introduced in Northern Ireland and in the Republic simultaneously was revised by Government on 4 May 2021 at my request. I look forward to the implementation of this important public health measure to reduce the disease, disability and death associated with the harmful use of alcohol.
