Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the status of talks between local authorities and Irish Water on the transfer of staff from the former to the latter; if he can give an assurance that all employment terms and conditions will remain the same; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
