Deputy Michael Lowry asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media the way an event organiser (details supplied) in County Tipperary can apply or obtain a licence to hold a limited number of live events in the arts and culture sector either indoor or outdoor; if there is an application process or established criteria to be considered under the recently proposed scheme; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As the organisation referred to by the Deputy is funded by the Arts Council, any proposal relating to indoor or outdoor pilot live events should be directed to the Arts Council in the first instance.
