235. Deputy Johnny Mythen asked the Minister for Transport the number of applicants currently awaiting a driver theory test in County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30766/21]

Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport

Under legislation, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) is the body responsible for the operation of the Theory Test. The information requested is held by the RSA and this question is therefore being referred to the Authority for direct reply.

I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
