446. Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the number of employees in his Department and the bodies under the aegis of his Department who have been in receipt of a higher duty acting allowance for over two years. [31423/21]
View answerI wish to advise the Deputy that there are no employees of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, or the Office of Government Procurement which is also part of the Department, in receipt of an acting up allowance for two years or more. This is also the case for the bodies under the aegis of my Department, with the exception of the Office of Public Works (OPW). The OPW have advised that while there are no established OPW officers currently in receipt of a higher duties acting allowance, four operational staff members have been receiving this allowance for more than two years.
