Deputy Cormac Devlin asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications if he plans to update the Best Practice Guidelines on the Preparation of Waste Management Plans for Construction and Demolition Projects which dates back to 2006; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Environmental Protection Agency recently concluded a public consultation on draft “Best Practice Guidelines for the Preparation of Resource management Plans for Construction and Demolition Projects”. When finalised in September, these will replace the 2006 guidelines.
