Deputy Bríd Smith asked the Minister for Health his views on reports of the inability to perform scans at St. James’s Hospital in Dublin; the manner in which this is impacting both the treatment of individual patients awaiting scans and the management of ward beds; the waiting times for scans in St. James’s Hospital; the impact of such waiting times on hospital bed usage; when this situation be resolved; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
