Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Health if he will appoint a person to oversee all early intervention services that are supposed to be made available to children with disabilities in the north County Tipperary area of the mid-west region in order that services are co-ordinated appropriately and parents receive proper communications; if so, if a person will be appointed to the role who has an understanding of the needs of such children; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
