View answerIn accordance with the Gas Act 1976 (as amended) and the Constitution of Gas Networks Ireland (GNI), my Department is currently considering, in consultation with NewERA, the appointment of the company referred to in the question as auditors of Ervia and GNI for the 2022 and 2023 financial audits, having regard to the contract entered into by the parties which included the option to extend the term by a further 2 years.
