Deputy Holly Cairns asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the number of State boards under the remit of her Department or its agencies in tabular form; the number of members of each board; the number of women on each board; and the percentage of each board that is made up of women. View answerMy Department actively promotes gender balance on the State Boards under its auspices.
The table below provides the Gender Balance Percentage for the four Agencies under my remit. These Boards exceed the Government target of a minimum of 40% representation of each gender in the membership of State Boards, with the exception of the Charities Regulator. This is a matter which is being kept under review.
