Deputy Alan Kelly asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if his Department distributed return to the workplace packs; if so, the individual items contained in each pack; the country of origin of each individual item and the cost of each of item; the number of packs distributed as of 1 November 2021; and the overall cost as of 1 November 2021. As part of my Department’s commitment to the health and safety of its employees, return to the workplace packs have been made available to those employees who have returned to the office. The information requested by the Deputy in respect of these packs is set out in the table below.

This initiative is aligned with my Department’s overall Health and Wellbeing Strategy, which was launched in November 2020 and strongly affirms our commitment to workplace health and wellbeing. The strategy is designed to create a working environment in which employees are valued as individuals, are supported in maintaining good health and safety, are treated with dignity and respect and are encouraged to participate in a positive work environment.
