View answerA sruth is a limited provision of tuition through the medium of Irish, within a parent school where English is the language of communication and teaching language of the school. A sruth is an informal arrangement made within a school’s existing resources.
An application to operate a sruth must be supported by the patron of the school. Any such application received by the school referred to by the Deputy will be considered by my Department and a decision will issue to the school in due course.
