Deputy James Lawless asked the Minister for Education if a predicted grades system will be used in place of sitting the exams in the case of a medical emergency, family bereavement or an event in which a student is not in a position to sit the exams on the day meaning that the student does not have to repeat the whole year; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
