185. Deputy Thomas Gould asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if funding is available from his Department to support local authorities in hosting fireworks displays at Halloween and on New Year’s Eve. [56668/21]
View answerMy Department does not provide dedicated funding for such matters. However, from time to time small amounts of funding may be allocated from the Local Government Fund for stand alone events with local authority involvement, subject to available resources and other funding priorities.
