53. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Transport the date on which work will commence on the Leixlip to Maynooth section of greenway in view of the fact that it was due to commence in Q4 2021 and the estimated duration to completion and opening. [57840/21]
View answerAs Minister, I have responsibility for the policy and overall funding in relation to Active Travel. The National Transport Authority, meanwhile, has responsibility for the allocation of funding to specific projects and oversight of their development, in cooperation with the local authorities themselves.
