The Group was established to advise and provide input on the Waste Action Plan for a Circular Economy, published in September 2020. The Group has remained in place to advise on implementation of the Plan. A number of other stakeholders subsequently contacted Department expressing a wish to join and have since joined the Group. |

The Department established this working group to progress actions to improve food waste segregation and awareness in Ireland.
