224. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Transport his plans to upgrade the rail stations throughout County Kildare in anticipation of higher volumes of through traffic; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [62755/21]
View answerAs Minister for Transport I have responsibility for policy and overall funding of public transport. The operation, maintenance and renewal of the rail network including the upgrading of stations on the network is a matter for Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) in the first instance.
