Deputy Mark Ward asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the number of times that children in State care have been accommodated in hotel accommodation each month in 2021, in tabular form; the policies and procedures for such instances; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy is referring to an operational matter for Tusla, the Child and Family Agency. I have therefore referred the matter to Tusla, and asked that a direct response be provided to the Deputy.
