Deputy Jim O'Callaghan asked the Minister for Transport if he will work with a company (details supplied) to reinstate a bus stop at a location to ensure that persons from East Wall, Ringsend and Irishtown, Dublin have access to bus transport; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has statutory responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure, including the provision of bus stops and shelters.
