Deputy Sean Sherlock asked the Minister for Education the agencies under the remit of her Department; the amount that has been spent on all Covid-19-related consultancy contracts by her Department and agencies under her remit in 2020, 2021 and to date in 2022, in tabular form; the amount paid for each consultant; and the reason for the consultancy. View answerInformation in relation to consultancy expenditure by my Department is compiled annually and published online at www.gov.ie/en/collection/department-of-education-and-skills-expenditure-on-consultancy/ The data in respect of 2021 will be compiled in the 1st quarter of 2022 and will be published online as soon as it is available.
In 2020, consultancy expenditure totalling €1,694 was incurred in relation to the Department’s response to COVID-19.
The information sought by the Deputy in regard to the bodies under the aegis of my Department is being collated and will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
