Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the definitive timeline for the appointment of a project manager to oversee the implementation of the enhanced scheme further to the changes announced to the defective concrete block scheme on 30 November 2021; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage

I aim to bring the required primary legislation to give effect to the enhanced scheme before the Oireachtas as soon as possible with Spring 2022 being the indicative target timeline. Arrangements for the implementation of the scheme will be finalised in parallel with the development of the legislation.
