386. Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs when a passport application by a person (details supplied) received by the Passport Office on 3 June 2021 will be dealt with in view of the fact that it has an estimated issue date of 25 November; when documents pertaining to the parent of the child will be returned to them; and if he will make a statement on the matter. With regard to the specific application about which the Deputy has enquired, the Passport Service has provided an update to the applicant's parents as to the steps they must take to progress their passport application and on the return of their passports.
