523. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the progress to date in the determination of an application for an invalidity pension in the case of a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9508/22]
View answerFollowing a review of her application for an invalidity pension (IP), the person referred to has been awarded IP with effect from 28 October 2021 and received her first payment to her nominated bank account on 17 February 2022. Any arrears due from 28 October 2021 to 16 February 2022 (less any overlapping social welfare payment) will issue shortly. The person in question was notified of this decision on 10 February 2022.
