View answerThe Passport Service contacted the applicant’s parent directly on 4 March 2022 to advise as to the status of the application and to advise that the supporting documents have been received. The passport application is being processed in line with current processing times. The current processing time for fully complete first time applications is 40 working days. Processing time begins from when the Passport Service receives the required supporting documentation for the application. The supporting documents for this application were received on 4 February 2022.
