Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of staff currently employed by his Department; the current annual salary of the highest and second highest paid persons respectively, employed by his Department; and the various pay scales for persons working in his Department. View answerMy Department currently employs 3,888 people and this is equivalent to 3,770 full-time positions. The highest and second highest paid persons are paid within the civil service salary scales for Secretaries General and Assistant Secretaries General.
The attached spreadsheet lists all the grades employed in my Department and the attached Department of Public Expenditure and Reform circular shows current salary scale for each.
