28. Deputy Darren O'Rourke asked the Minister for Transport the number of passengers that travelled on Bus Éireann route 14 Limerick to Killarney in both directions in 2021 and to-date in 2022, in tabular form. [15206/22]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
Further, Bus Éireann's Expressway services, including route 14, are commercial bus services and as such responsibility for the operation of those services is a matter for the company.
I have, therefore, referred the Deputy's question to Bus Éireann for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
