242. Deputy Steven Matthews asked the Minister for Transport if his attention has been drawn to concerns related to the electric vehicle home charger grant administered by SEAI (details supplied); the basis for same; and if the matter will be reviewed to remove any barriers to access this funding. Department officials have liaised with SEAI who can confirm that they do make payments into Credit Union accounts.

Once the credit union account has a BIC, IBAN and is SEPA compatible, SEAI can successfully make payment to credit union accounts just like a main street bank.
