Based on the information supplied, a search of my Department's record holdings has been carried out. No records have been found which match the details provided. If at any stage Ms Rellis or her representatives can provide the Department with further details, the most appropriate avenues for requesting personal information are:

- Subject Access Request (SAR): Article 15 of the GDPR gives individuals the right to request a copy of any of their personal data which are being processed by my Department. Further information, including a SAR application form, is available on the Department's website.

- Access to Institutional and Related Records (AIRR): An indexing project, known as the Access to Institutional and Related Records (AIRR) Project, was undertaken by my Department from 2004 to 2006. This Project involved the indexing of all records held by the Department relating to child care services, some of which contain information referring to individual children who were in care. The personal information references were indexed onto a specialized ‘names index’ along with other relevant information. The purpose of the Project was to enable efficient release of child care records on foot of requests from and on behalf of individuals seeking their own information. I enclose a leaflet which provides more information on the AIRR Project. Please note that Ms Rellis' details have already been checked on the names index, with no result.

- Freedom of Information: Under the Freedom of Information Act, an individual can request access to all records containing their personal information held by my Department. Further information, including an FOI request form, is available on the Department's website:
