340. Deputy Denise Mitchell asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if he intends to conduct a full audit of individual local authority finances; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17972/22]

In accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 2001 (as amended), the Local Government Audit Service conducts a yearly audit of the annual financial statements of each local authority. Once presented to the members of the local authority, the audit reports are published on my Department's website, as is the Annual Overview of the Work of the Local Government Audit Service.
