Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the total value of consultancy contracts awarded to an organisation (details supplied) for work with his Department and bodies under auspices of his Department in each of the years 2017 to 2021, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI wish to advise the Deputy that my Department did not award any consultancy contracts to an organisation (details supplied) in the years 2017 to 2021.
As regards the 12 State Agencies under the aegis of the Department, the placing of such contracts is an operational issue for the agencies themselves and I have referred the question to them for direct reply.
