370. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Transport if his Department will reintroduce a system (details supplied);; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19928/22]

No arrangement of the nature described is in place in any motor tax office. The Deputy may be referring to the process for issuing a replacement disc where a disc issued on foot of an online application was not received in the post. In such circumstances, the procedure is that the replacement disc is issued by the local motor tax office.
