675. Deputy Sean Sherlock asked the Minister for Health the briefings that he has received on the operation and closure of a facility (details supplied). [22572/22]

Minister of State at the Department of Health

Since the HSE first contacted the Department on 25 June 2021, notifying of their intent to close the facility referred to by the Deputy, I have received a significant number of briefings and updates, both verbal and written, from the Department and HSE. I will continue to liaise with the HSE and the Department to ensure the care needs of the residents remains at the centre of the work they are doing in relation to the facility.
