Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the engagement that has taken place between a development company and his Department and or IPAS on an issue (details supplied); if agencies such as the HSE and the Department of Education have been consulted to ensure that local supports and service provision will be put in place to support such an initiative; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth

My Department is focused on providing short term accommodation to people fleeing the conflict in Ukraine. Over 23,000 people have sought short-term temporary accommodation from my Department to date.

My Department has been approached about many possible accommodation projects.  However, it is not involved in the project referenced.
