79. Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment further to Parliamentary Question No. 42 of 8 September 2022, when he will ratify International Labour Organisation Convention No. 190. [45042/22]
View answerIreland is committed to ratifying ILO Convention No.190. The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment is currently undertaking a stakeholder consultation which is open to interested parties to make submissions. Following the conclusion of the consultation, the views of the Attorney General will then be sought, followed by the formal approval of the Government for ratification. I anticipate that the Instrument of Ratification can be signed as soon as is practicable thereafter.
