View answerThe Dentists Act 1985 establishes the Dental Council as the regulatory body for the dental profession in Ireland. The Dental Council is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and publishing a Register of Dentists and a Register of Dental Specialists and other Dental auxiliary roles. As the regulator, issues concerning the registration of Dentist’s are a matter for the Dental Council to consider.
