2617. Deputy Ruairí Ó Murchú asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science for an update on the terms of reference for a review of personal assistance services funded from the fund for students with disabilities across tertiary education settings; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In June, my officials met with counterparts in the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth to discuss their review of HSE-funded personal assistance services. Subsequent to this meeting, they are now finalising the terms of reference for the review of personal assistance services across tertiary education.  It is anticipated that the review will be completed by year end or early 2025.
